It's OK to Pee a Little
Just another lifting podcast where your host, Sam Johnson, discusses your typical, and not so typical, moments in and outside of the gym as a powerlifter. Sam's guests range from fellow powerlifters to Certified Personal Trainers, avid gym goers, and more.
Join us and hear some unique stories from every athlete, what powerlifters face on and off the platform, awkward and sometimes vulgar moments, and our training environments.
My goal of this podcast is to share the stories of people who dedicate their time to training - whether that is powerlifting, bodybuilding or another sport - I want to hear about it and share your story. The name of this podcast was originally specified to powerlifting but as each episode has progressed - it encompasses the moments in our training that not many people talk about: the moments that push us to our limits, the moments when training starts to push back.
Everyone might have different experiences but I hope the stories shared on this podcast bring those experiences to light and resonates with other lifters.
Each episode will be very different so stay tuned!

Buckle up, and get ready to laugh. This episode, Madi and Sam talk to the powerhouse lifter, Alex Donald! Alex is number 12 all time at 198 pounds, her raw total is 1295lbs and her wrapped total is 1361lbs. She trains conjugate with coach Laura Phelps Stackhouse who was one of the first women to train under Loui Simmons at Westside.
We ask her about conjugate training, her hamburger singlet, and find out just how much apple sauce someone can eat during a meet.
Follow Alex and her training as she gears up for her next meet at the American Pro in October > @alexdonald_22
